Guest 24 – By Falingard
My friend Falingard, fellow French-Canadian artist behind from the long-running webcomic Flaky Pastry really dug deep into Frivolesque in order to deliver this pint-sized special!
I never expected someone to draw obscure characters like Citrine and Theia in those guest comics!
So wholesome and cute.
That’s… that’s… PERFECT!!! :)))
Where did she get the green wig from?
That’s actually Theia, Eleonore was a misdirection :)
Although Theia is supposed to be shorter than Flore she still looks tall to Mimi, who is, I think, the shortest of the whole universe.
In fact, it seems it’s Xue the shortest one, for 3 votes against 2.
Theia and Flore are short, but they should still be taller than little kids XD
As for heights, Xue is indeed the smallest girl in all of the Frivoverse so far.
Maybe it’s my “bad English” but just in case I was not doing an objection, just a remark.
I vividly remember Flore’s delight :)
That’s why I was fooled, I fell for the classic magician’s misdirection trick.
They didn’t find a wig, that girl is Theia. Eleonore in panel 3 was just a diversion.
I feel foolish now.
This is so adorable!!
I just noticed that on the last panel Xue got herself a bandaid :)
That’s truly cherry on top.
This confirms that Mimi is the strongest Frivolesque character.
Falingard delivers once again, love every part of it =)
IIRC Falingard was the one who came up with Citrin’s name, so it’s very appropriate
Poor Clementine…
O.k., she missed Eleonore (though she probably wouldn’t have joined in anyway) and she forgot about Clem (who doesn’t have a kid sidekick-need to work on that). And she brought in Flore herself, which I’m sure was embarrassing. Very cute strip.
Clem does have a kid sidekick. Her little sister Citrine, who we see in the last panel. That’s the joke. Mimi forgot about Clementine, so she isn’t inviting her sister, who is right over there.
It seems that in the end you were right about Citrine being a bit obscure :)
Oh wow…I did miss that. Oh well, even if Mimi forgot about Clem, the artist didn’t. That’s cool.
Hehe, looks like eventually Falingard appears everywhere I go, webcomic-wise. XD
It’s his second guest strip here!
I also think it is lovely. Falinguard is top-notch! Poor Flore, kidnapped to play herself — wonderful!
Now they just need someone to play Marie-Lune to be the antagonist.
