353 – Who?
Surprise again!
I’m back in charge once more. Doing this once a month isn’t too bad! I was starting to miss this.
Do you guys remember Aurelie? No? Me neither. She’s gotta be the most forgetten “character” ever in the history of Frivolesque.
The guests are back next week!
Please vote for me on Top Web Comics!
Buy my a coffee on Ko-Fi!
And don’t forget to comment, follow me on Twitter or like the Facebook page!
Fourth wall breaking, just like we like them.
And six years later, the shoe finally drops :)
I voted and Frivo is 71st place.
I voted thrice, and we’re now #67 :P
(I’ll be going back to the past now, because I haven’t finished the archives yet and want to avoid spoilers, but I’ll catch up in one or two weeks and I’ll keep voting)
I voted today and it dropped to 82nd place.
Okay, it’s taken me a bit longer than two weeks. Almost there…
Another down, and now just one to go!
Shouldn’t be Josi… I mean Girl of Many Jobs tagged? :)
Fixed
While this isn’t Aurelie’s first appearance, this is the firt time she has been tagged

Ah!
Are there any characters left that have made cameos in earlier comics but hasn’t been named yet?
I don’t think so.
Someone is probably gonna come and prove me otherwise.
Not intentional! You posted while I was writing!! :)
I didn’t contradicted you anyway ;)
Aside real people (several) and other artist characters (a couple), there’s a still a handful characters that appeared but has not been named, however I don’t think they will ever got one, or appear again at all. Except maybe for one :)
The other way around I think Aurelie was the last one already named in the comic but no showed.
Outside the comic there is two named characer announced, other named but likely not going to appear, and other one showed but not publicy named.
That’s as far as I remeber right now. Likely forgetting something, though.
You certainly done your research.
Not that much really. For whatever reason Frivo-related things stick to my neurones :P
Sounds legit, totally not introducing any new characters here. Welcome back, Aurelie.
Back then I hadn’t realized that Flore-vision is capable of foreshadowing this much. There’s even a Marie-Lune there. :-)
I wonder who that big guy on the very upper left above your self-insert is.
He’s Bonhomme Carnaval. The mascot of the Quebec City Winter Carnival.
He’s a local celebrity.
Oh, a guest appearance then. :)
Wait, so Mr Toad & Laurence are watching everything unfold from what kinda like a 4th wall. And we’re watching THEM through the 4th wall, but since THEY have their own 4th wall, would that make ours the 5th wall? Side wall, side wall, ours is the 7th wall? More walls?
My processor hurts…
Nah. She just bought the comic.
Judging from the thickness of the book, she probably knows everything at least 10 years in advance.
Just what the strip is lacking, a cute girl! :D
…and with glasses too, how rare is that?
( ̄ω ̄)
Orange GOMJ!
Guess she liked the makeover Frederic did enough to keep it.
Dez again? You’re supposed to be recouping your creative energies on La Terrasse Dufferin. Get back there!
…
Aurélie is a very nice name.
Hey, I can’t fully abandon my comic, can I? XD
I’m gonna make a wild guess that the Minister of Shady Operations turns out to be Marc Bellemare. (I was a tourist in Quebec while the Bastarache Commission was taking his testimony, and I bought a copy of one of the Montreal papers as a souvenir.)
Strangely enough, the English language Wikipedia articles for him and Jean Charest make no mention of Bellemare’s 2010 accusations against Charest.
Also, Aurelie reminds me of Daria Morgendorffer. A Daria who couldn’t find a job more to her taste and, uh, perception of her proper role in the world. Don’t worry, Aurelie, just keep your mouth shut, and you’ll have a good career and a decent retirement.
And keep in mind what the therapists always say about these things:
How many reformers does it take to change an institution? One — but the institution has to want to change.
