73 – Esteem
I’m not really good at drawing evening / night scenes, really. I need to practice those more.
Because of this little Chloe-Mimi storyline, Chloe is going to beat Flore as the character with the biggest number of strip appearances.
I guess I’ll need to give her a break as soon as she takes Mimi home. All the other girls are lagging behind.
Hey! It’s your favorite drawing ever in the first case!
And have Chloe’s hair shortened?
Yes! It’s shorter and poofier. It’s been that way since the first comic with Mimi.
Isn’t it cuter? She got a haircut I guess. :)
“Have you realize…” would sound better as “Have you realized…” no? Either way, I am somewhat confused at the last panel. Not sure what Chloe means. That people haven’t realized that she wasn’t as cool as her other friends?
I like the nature background :)
No. “Realize” is the right word. She isn’t asking Mimi a question. “having someone realize”
And Chloe thinks her friends are much cooler than she is. Meaning if Mimi meets them, she’ll see Chloe for the plain girl she really is.
But yeah, you dont understand the panel because you think she’s saying “realized”. :)
“To have someone realize”, “having someone realize”. C’est des formulations bien normales pourtant.
Ouaiiiiiin, ça fait du sens. :P
For sunset scenes (or night even) my advice is to use more contrasting shadow, in the dark it is more obvious where the light is coming from so the difference between the dark parts and light parts should be greater, I think
Thanks, I’ll keep that it mind. :)
(I’m still not used to do those things)
