It also feels like she didn’t return to the lab – or at least that she didn’t tell her employers about Gaia. Though I’m not sure how she would explain her brand-new punch-hole in the stomach.

I’m happy for Gaia and Saki, but last time Zoe was in Tisiphone hands and mortally scared. I want to know that she is ok as well. Hope we will have good news… soon?

If I was hiding like Phoebe, I would start with a new hair colour.
That could be a good idea :).
However, not sure if any of them are actually “hiding”. They are still living at “the lab” which looks like a powerful enough entity, taking accound that neither Liliane’s organization nor even The Furies, could find out what’s going on with them. To me it looks more like they are being concealed.
They do seem to be carrying on operations secretly, likely for “the lab”, and trying to keep a low profile: coats, sunglasses, running at night, etc.
Well, not so much Iapetus here in broad daylight at a way public place, but you know how it is, they all are aware that Canadians are very polite people that will not pay undue attention, much less eavesdrop ;)
and listening to sunglasses at night.
Gaia has kept her hair color and nobody really cared.
Well, actually that was why Saki started stalking her to being with.

Oh, right, Phoebe was there, too. :-) I love the exchange between the two sisters. I wonder if we’ll ever know why Phoebe was there when she met and beat up Saki for the first time. Also I think it’ll be more difficult for her to disappear and live somewhere else, because her eyes are a definite tell.
And I can’t wait to see what the deal with the red-haired dude in the lab is.
Iapetus already explained it. She wanted to ambush Gaia. Maybe to bring her in?
As for the red haired… guy? You mean Tethys? She’s a girl!
I’m not sure we’re talking about the same 1st time. The 1st time Gaia was beaten up by Phoebe was near the very beginning of the comic, not during the current arc. But I did forget about her reasons for the 2nd meeting, too, so thanks for explaining.

Well, someone was obviously smuggling something into the Quebec City docks, Saki and Conroy were sent to investigate. They ran into a bunch of goons there, with Phoebe working for them as extra security.
Ohhhhh, so she wasn’t just hiding or scavenging or something, she was actually hired on purpose. That’s interesting. The whole green-haired bunch might still be in seriously deep shit then, because evil organizations have ways of dealing with people who want to quit, even if they’re just hired.
Regarding Tethys I completely forgot that they did address her as a she multiple times. I only remembered her brute’ish attitude and her being flat, but then again they were all kids back then.
Lol, I initially read it as “seek me out when you feel ready to talk without blowing my face up” (i.e. face instead of place).
I was just thinking this is how Esther and Marie should be. They should learn from Gaia. At least Marie should, since she knows her.
Good thing Marie-Lune is gone, now it’s unambiguous again who we mean when we say Marie.
