220 – Vanishing
Could Saki and Marie-Lune have some previous history together? The plot thickens! (After stalling for so long.)

You’d better call Conroy, Saki. This one won’t go down easily. Ready your sword, daughter of samurai, for the time is nigh.
;)
Apparently Saki’s determination to find out about Marie-Lune makes her immune to the cold.
Pretty much. Notice she was the only one complaining about the cold at the beginning of the chapter? When she’s in hunter mode, she doesn’t care about these petty things.
Does this indicate that Marie-Lune is a possible villain?
Possibly. Some readers seem to be quite convinced she is.
Oh come on, she’s basically female Sephiroth. And those eerie cameos before her official debut? The only thing she lacks is businnes cards saying “Professional villain. World domination, kidnapping, human experiments, messing with secret services.”
If M-L is Sephiroth, then who is Aerith, Chloe?
Whoever dies first will be Aerith)
No, stay! Don’t leave again! Hush now, it’s alright.
Or now that I think about it, the Rainbow Dash one is probably a better fit for both M-N and Saki right now.
Nice appearance by Laurence Dea Dionne :D
She’s my soul sister now. She officially exists in the Frivolesque world.
Mmm, that hair.
I imagine a “Où est-ce qu’elle venue, cette crisse de femme???” for either or both Saki and M-N.
Yay, this time I used a proper French swear word! :-)
Proper for Quebec French, but totally alien to the rest of the French-speaking world.
And… what you said doesn’t make much sense. I love you man, but you gotta stick to German. ;)
Hahaha, I was more or less guessing at the grammar. And the wording. It was supposed to mean
“Where has she gone, that goddam woman?”
What would the correct phrasing look like?
There’s no single way to say that…
In quebec french, I’d say “Elle est passée où, la maudite?” or “Elle est allée où, la maudite?”
International french, I dunno. replace “la maudite by : “cette salope” or any other general nasty feminine expletive like that.
You said “venue”, from verb “venir” which means “to come”
You should have looked for “to go” ;) (aller)
Whoops! ^///^
But how do you say it if you want to start the sentence with Où?
Où est elle allée?
And do you say crisse only to objects?
“Ou est-ce qu’elle est disparut”
would be my attempt.
How about having them watch the 1982 movie Gandhi about Mahatma Gandhi.
I hadn’t expected playing around with Saki’s glasses would have plot relevance. Well played.
