OTOH, only the boxing/MMA geeks will know. It’s all chinese jargon for me. And even then, I suspect the abbreviation will soon lose it’s meaning, if the guy is really retired.
The thing about Georges Saint-Pierre, though, is that he’s French Canadian so here in Quebec (where Frivolesue takes place), the man is a LEGEND.
He’s a national hero of some sort, so the mention wasn’t just random. :)
It does strike me as a bit odd that you combine a clearly Japanese-influenced style… with exceedingly regional French-Canadian stuff that few people from outside said area would ever get…
Maybe it is just a Canadian thing. The folks in Nova Scotia would go on about the members of the Halifax Mooseheads as though I was supposed to know who the hell they were. The hell do I know about ice hockey? I’m British and don’t even know footballers…

It’s true that I rarely get to draw their legs in the comic… D:

That would be an understatement. ^^
Yet she was outdoors… playing chess with a bear.
There is no direct correlation between being introverted, and going outside.
I’m quite introverted myself, and enjoying the great outdoors is a very interesting activity.
As long as there’s no crowd I need to interact with…

Gaia’s and Saki’s shoes are the same… just different color. Also, the colors, shapes and looks of their shoes really describes their personalities which is amazing.
what i find weird is that the background in panel 1 and 2 are totaly different which means they changed location but the girls are all in the same order.
