Intentions
YES, THIS STRIP HAS A BONUS FIFTH PANEL!
I thought this one-shot gag was too good not to include, and since I wasn’t feeling like throwing a random character profile with it in order to make it a full update, I added it as bonus content. This is so exciting. :)
I really need to point out that everytime a poster or a painting appears in my comic, I drew the thing myself. It’s not a photo I took online and some clever uses of photoshop filters, unlike some people thought. In this case, that painting of Paul Klee adorning Flore’s wall has a very special meaning to me. Nothing is random, here.
Someone’s glasses could not hide one’s true intentions in the end :)
I like that the personalities of everyone are all shown very clearly in this strip. I wonder how they will all react to their differences now that they all expressed themselves truthfully.
That’s a thoughtful analysis. :)
I like that.
And we’ll see. Although I guess no one will ever take Marie-Neige’s advances seriously. :(
More bang for our buck on this one I see. (Not that bucks were involved in this.) I still feel sad for Flore right now. That poor girl…
At least she’s being a proper host in spite of the invasion. :)
The three of them revealing what they want from Gaia reminds me of the thought-game “Marry, Kill, Screw”. Did you do that on purpose?
Hachi?? Is that you?? Wow, long time no see! And no, it’s a coincidence I guess… And no one said she wanted to “screw” her! ^^
Yeah, was poking around and actually ran across this comic written by “Dez”… sorta realized it was you once I saw a couple of the characters :)
I’m so glad to see you, man! :)
(Did you get my email?)
Gee, I wonder where you could run across Frivolesque… I don’t think there’s many places that link to me out there… ^^
“Bonus fifth panel”?
Are you one of those people that normally sticks strictly to a fixed number of panels? And shape? … o_0;
Well, with Frivolesque being modeled after Japanese 4Koma comics and all, four fixed-size panels are the core rules of the format.
Aren’t 4koma comics usually one-shots with comparatively little arcing continuity outside of running jokes?
