Guest 33 – by Lewis Cox III
Our final guest strip of 2020, and an extremely cute one to boot, comes from an old internet friend of mine, Lewis Cox III. He seems to be a master when it comes to drawing cute glasses girls, pity he doesn’t draw more. ;)
Neko kissaten no meganekko nekomimi :P
Last guess strip? I don’t think that means we are resuming the comic earlier than expected, or are we?
I’d argue that Dez only said “it shouldn’t take more than 6 months” and that no minimum was implied.
On the other hand, I’ve read enough webcomics that said they’d only be on hiatus for two weeks and which have never come back. So I guess expectations could reasonably be all over the place :P
Even more frustrating are the ones that come back from a hiatus, pop out a handful of strips, then keel over for good. A bunch of guest strips generally don’t figure in this phenomenon though :)
Or ones that after months of hiatus post a message “I’m sorry you didn’t hear anything from me for so long, but I’m finally back and I’ll start updating again starting next week”. And then die permanently.
But yeah, I wasn’t really worried about that here.
What hurts me is reboots where quickly after it dies
I’ve also seen the variation where it reboots not just once, but several times (and then dies).
A bit scary though being surrounded and climbed by a lot of cats, you’ll never know their intention, what if they’re trying to eat you.
They wouldn’t do that before you die… usually.
I’d mostly worry about their nails digging into my flesh while they’re climbing all over me.
Which is why I wouldn’t let them.
Only catgirls can climb all over me, and only if they don’t have sharp nails.
This looked like an Azumanga Daioh moment where the quiet girl gets attacked by a gray cat. :-)
Having lost two kitty buddies in the last couple of years, I kinda desperately want a cat cafe near me. There is not.
In this case, I think I might perform a Mimi, as cats seem to kinda automatically trust me most times, whether because of my mimicked “meows” and “myans”m but maybe also because I tend to smell like other cats, or maybe just my adapted behaviours.
I miss my Spot buddy and my brother’s great big giant (30 US pounds, and VERY athletic) Ninja cat.
No more cats for awhile, because it is too sad when one of them has to be put down by human decision. It;s better when one of them lives for 23 years (full of piss and vinegar) and is still athletic enough to go off on her own to die, my middle brother’s (and sometime my own) cat Porcupine.
=(
Funny, cats only huddle the one person that is allergic to them…
I love everything about this! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
Looks like we get a Cat-Girl Of Many Jobs today. Of the Purple Group (I’m telling you, they’re clones! CLONES!) this time…
Don’t know how I’d do at a cat cafe. Sometimes cats are OK with me, other times they seem to smell the fear they cause…
The Violet clones, of course, have the highest security clearance.
…I just realized there are cat cafes in my city and I could have visited them all this time.
It’s been almost a year since I’ve last seen a cat.
This strip is adorable.
