She makes the boys look bad with how recklessly awesome she is, though, so Daddy loves her. I linked it for the art of the Plaguebearer and Lady of Change allies in the gallery.
Granted, since she’s technically an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor now, it could be argued that she decides what is or isn’t heresy.

You know what? I think that scene might have been an influence.
Standard procedure for a sniper in a covering position to, well, provide cover fire. Instead of dumping the rifle and sprinting where bullets can reach faster.

Maybe he didn’t have a clear shot on Saki’s location considering she’s usually able to take care of herself.
