326 – One-sided
Back to the interesting stuff. Thing are getting more and more serious this time around.
With Gaia going down in one hit, can the girls really stop Marie-Lune?

And pictured here, we have the principal advantages of melee weapons over unarmed strikes:
Reach, and leverage.
Unless Iapetus shows up next. The crowbar might even out his reach advantage, but that’s it. ;-)
Yeah, I call that he shows up and holds M-L off until Liliane can order M-L to stand down.
I prefer indiscriminate grappling. Can’t do that with a weapon in my hands.
“Back to the interesting stuff.”?
Don’t say that. This isn’t an action comic. The other stuff is interesting, too.
@mouse-over text:
I’m going to go ahead and imagine that this is the reason why the girls weren’t able to put up a fight at all. ;-)
Also, what am I going to make of the fact that M-L took the bloody end of the crowbar into her hands on purpose?
Well, the slipperiness of the blood is a con, but other than that, I think it is the better place to hold such a weapon. Otherwise the curved end may get in your way.
Going by the lack of blood on Gaia’s face, at least she isn’t too damaged even if that would seriously hurt.
There’s a limit to how much I can hurt my heroines…
Physically or mentally?
What a great swing! M-L must be good at baseball…
Homerun girl.
I’m starting to worry Marie-Lune might beat Nergal with a crowbar too.
Typo, panel 3, “hande”.
Fixed! Thanks!
Is it possible that the three furies were created as an improved product line based on the titans, and that’s why Tisiphone is having such a field day?
Daniel here. We’ve been thinking the Furies are genetically enhanced/engineered too. An older batch, a newer batch, a batch made at the same time, we are yet to see which it is, but we’re pretty sure they are not stock standard Humans…
There doesn’t seem to be much of an age difference.
For all that that matters with genetically engineered super soldier clones.
You forgot the logo on the back of Saki’s jacket in the last panel.
Fixed! Thanks!
I’m (probably) a normal human.
I’ve taken a Louisville slugger to the head, as I was unarmed.
I went down.
… but I got back up again, took that Louisville slugger away, and prevailed.
One of these combatants is more human than human, or at least tougher than I. Fury, and defending those in need is her motivation.
It’s real easy to go from unarmed, to armed, when surprise disarming an opponent. I’ve done it, and am a puny human… albeit one who, A, doesn’t know when to give up (and admittedly, that’s sometimes worked out poorly for me), and 2, who gets real mad and has all the adrenaline available sometimes.
Ooh, bad luck Saki losing her glasses. If I recall correctly, that pretty much puts her out the fight until she can regain her vision. A battlefield is a really bad place to have to grasp around blindly to find your glasses.
And M-L seems like the mean kind of girl that would intentionally trample on them too.
The comic didn’t load for me, for whatever reason. Navigating directly to: http://frivolesque.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/FRIV0326.png
allows me to see it correctly.
Every other comic did work properly, so I’m not sure why this one didn’t.
Thank you for telling me! I fixed it.
I don’t know what happened. Probably a mistake on my end! :)
Thanks, it’s working properly for me now ^.^
