Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Poor Liliane. She doesn’t know how to handle her newfound sister. She’s still taking it rather well though.
I missed drawing Flores apartment. I draw this place so much it feels like a real place already!

Liliane sleeps in sunglasses. And she thinks Laurence is weird?
Also, sleeping with a cat on your legs can really make legs numb.
Maybe she’s hiding something like an evil eye. (I’ve obviously watched way to many anime with people wearing eye-patches because they have a “Cursed Eye”.)
They’re usually chuunibyou, though, and she’s a bit too old for that.
Maybe if she takes her glasses off uncontrollable laser beams shoot out of her eyes. No wait that can’t be, because Gaia has seen her without her glasses.
I think she might have put them on as she woke up? Who knows…
Nah. Philemon sleeps nicely on her laps, and that means Liliane is not turning and tossing in her sleep, most likely she’s used to sleep on her back. Because her sunglasses would not allow her to lie sidelong.
I think Liliane cannot abandon her glasses for more than a few minutes.
They conveniently block the morning light, which is why she woke up after Laurence. And maybe Flore is not a morning person.
Or PM’s theory is right and Flore went to bed a little later than the others…
Liliane just woke up early. We don’t know if Laurence even sleeps. ;)
We don’t even know if Laurence is real or a shared hallucination.
Liliane even sleeps with her sunglasses on? Now that a dedicated “Glasses Girl”. :)
Wild-Ass Theory: Laurence is some kind of reality warper who has fooled everyone else but Liliane into thinking she’s Flore’s twin and the reason Liliane was immune was due to her constant sunglass wearing.
Laurence manifests in our reality because Flore has an extremely powerful imagination. She doesn’t just see the things she imagines, we see them too. We see Laurence because Flore thinks she has a twin sister.
Good morning, sis! I made muffins!

The tilt of her head gives the illusion of her being Derp-eyed, now that the adorable Frivo-squint is back. XD
It’s now canon, Laurence is the Frivolesque equivalent of Derpy.
T_T
Been waiting to see more of these sisters!
Glad to see you here!
Haha yeah, finally got everything set up so I can actually comment!
Now what if it’s still a dream? A dream within a dream? Within another dream? Deeply embedded inside networks of dreams singlehandedly headed by Laurence? What if Laurence is Inception?
You mean the girl who read an actual Frivolesque comic book in one strip? I’d wager even Dez can’t grasp the full extent of her powers yet. By which I mean: He’s still in the process of thinking up what she can do and why.
If at some point there will be a Patreon, one of the tiers needs to be an occasional shout-out from her to the donors (with reusable sprites).
So far Frivo is the only medium where I enjoy the filler even more than the main content. ^^
As a side note: I just enlarged this text window too far and now the resize button is hidden behind the blue vertical bar (yet again) and while I was typing this I figured out that the box scrolls, so the only way to access the button is to keep typing or go to a long line and hit the End key. I think to solve this issue
a) the resize should be limited by the blue bar or
b) the box should be layered above it if possible or
c) possibly the easiest: the resize should be limited to vertical.
Funny, about the resize. Setting a max-width of 100% seems to prevent the resize-button getting behind the blue bar.
I thought the “Is this the real life? Is this just just fantasy?” had been used before. But I couldn’t find it. Because there’s two just’s XP
It’s a really good song, but then many of Queen’s songs are. (Or maybe I just never heard of the bad ones.)
Damn. Catching weird typos two years later!
Just goes to show, it’s never too late to proofread.
It’s also funny how easy it is to just not notice something like that, at all. It took me two failed attempts of googling, some moments of confusion and double checking to finally notice the duplicate “just”.
I suppose for understanding text it’s great that the brain automatically skips over such errors, but it makes it difficult to find them.
