I was about to speculate Saki’s about to get an apprentice, and then realised there’s no way Saki would want anyone to follow in her footsteps.

Also, isn’t she Gaia’s sidekick? Xue is Saki’s sidekick. Well, I guess it’s better this way. Although.. Hmm. I don’t think Dez would kill off either, but if he were, Xue would probably have better odds of survival. Killing off a teenager is one thing, but a kid is on a different level.
Xue only met Saki once, though, while Elly is their neighbor and often hangs around Gaia.
She could properly add the word Esquire to her name if she did just that.
Of course she’s going to save the day, she’s a teenager. That’s how it works in Anime, isn’t it? It’s always the kids who save the entire world, right?

At least Marie-Neige and Chloe are far away and safe. At this rate I’d worry the whole cast comes by Gaia’s apartment and runs after the mayhem before Gaia gets there.
