317 – Backup
So Marie-Lune did follow Zoe’s lead. She only got there after everyone else did.
It seems like she also has her own “Girl in the Chair” in the form of yet another sister that we hadn’t seen before. Could this spell trouble for our heroines?

I’m starting to wonder if Gaia’s “family” aren’t the only band of clones running around the Frivolesque universe.
Same. I was going to basically post the same thing, by calling Marie-Lune a literal anti-Gaia.
Yeah, Daniel the Human & I have been thinking that for a while, ever since the Headphones Silver Sister pointed out what this one was up to…
Crystal Pepsi still exists?
Last year, the United States got a limited-time bottling. This year, it was Canada. I personally like it and wish it was as permanent as Pepsi Throwback. (Yes, it is permanent, it just got a name change for that. It’s now “Pepsi Made With Real Sugar.”)
It’s been coming out one in a while since 2016. Only in bottles, though. Those cans are a 1992-3 vintage. But a lot of dead brands still exist in the Frivoverse.
It’s just that Crystal Pepsi never took off down here in Oz, so it hasn’t shown its face outside of speciality food stores in years.
I can honestly say I have NEVER heard of Pepsi Throwback, what sort of flavour is that?
It’s just regular Pepsi (or Mountain Dew) made with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. The cans and cases also had older style packaging.
We’re lucky that down here in Oz, corn syrup isn’t anywhere near as popular.
So Marie-Lune even uses that catchphrase of hers on her own sister… Good gravy.
It makes even more sense that she was code named after a Fury.
Looks like our heroines are soon going to have to find out whether or not they’re faster than a speeding bullet.
Marie-Lune could have saved herself a dinner if she just followed a trail of bloody footprints.
Speaking of which, I see some nice footwork here =)
That’s a thought, Daniel the Human & I are still thinking these silvery white haired girls are another batch of clones, however they all wear glasses. Perhaps they were a older batch, not as perfected as the green batch, so 1 in particular has decided to hunt the better batch down…?
It may be of interest to note here that one can buy frames without prescription lenses. Actors use them all the time.
I think that if they’re clones, they’re unrelated to the green-haired clones. I’d expect they’re more likely from rival organizations.
As for the glasses, well, Gaia can wear (random prescription) glasses if she wants. Who’s to say these girls need glasses. Or perhaps they’re special spy-gadget glasses.
SIDONIE IS EVILLLLLE! SHE DRINKS CRYSTAL PEPSI!
Also, caplocks!
By “Girl in the Chair” and “fille dans la chaise” I’m guessing you mean “an obscure someone you can call on for certain favors”. Google has failed me.
It’s a Spiderman : Homecoming reference.
It’s not Pepsi Blue. I R DISAPOINT!
Next time. Valentine drinks that one.
I always enjoy a good wall of monitors. This here is a good wall of monitors.
Woops Forgot about this. time to back track about 100 pages.
In the best case, Marie-Lune might end up saving Saki. Presuming she won’t kill someone working for the same organization.
But Gaia is sure to arrive on the scene eventually, and then it’ll turn into another mess again.
