Flore is really introverted, but she’s also very polite. She will say hello to the people she knows.

I don’t know why you thought everbody would hate it. It made me laugh. Sure, it’s a bit bizarre, but that’s why I liked it. Sort of a non sequitur in the middle of secret agent storyline. Flore’s comment in the last panel is great, and great timing leading up to it. One of my favorites.
I really liked it too. I was smiling the entire time I worked on that strip, but when I showed it to my friends, they were all like “and this is funny how?” making me feel like everyone would hate it.
