I’m still on hiatus, but here’s a little return to form!
My friend Usui is obsessed by that weird Japanese character called Aokubi Daikon. So it’s no wonder her little doppleganger Xue is too. I find him incredibly perplexing myself.
And I really want to thank all of the guests artists who made 2020 a lot better for me!

Thank you guys. You’re all wonderful and I wouldn’t have been able to survive without you!
In the meantime, don’t hesitate to follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Discord if you wanna see what’s up until Frivolesque returns. It shouldn’t take too long!
“Little Snow, come here!”
Frivo Kids rules :D
I don’t do Chinese, but in Japanese, 小雪 does indeed read as ‘Little Snow’.
It’s actually “little Xue”. The character for Xue is the one for snow.
I know :) I’m aware that names are not usually translated but I liked how her name matches Marie-Neige’s ;)
The same kanji usually have the same meaning in Chinese, in Japanese, and about everywhere they’re used, but with different readings.
So now we have at least 3 characters named after snow? Yuki from the last guest strip does use the same 雪 kanji, and I have no doubt Marie-Neige would use it as well.
Uh, new avatar o wrong email?
Thanks goodness, I’m still Sam. :)
It gives off Masochist Door vibes.

Isn’t that used as a meme face? I think I recognize that as a meme face. Either that, or a “sudden expression” face, going from Anime Face to that face…
Indeed it is, I have mostly seen it in some memes and Lost Pause videos.
Lost pause is great… but not for kids
I don’t blame you Mimi. That thing is creepy looking.
Reminds me of Bellflower Root monsters from Maple Story….

I did a quick Google search, and now I’m creeped out.
The alt text makes me think of Michigan J Frog.
