The strip is certainly feeling very different from when it was just a bunch of cute girls in glasses hanging out.
Now it is a bunch of cute girls in glasses bleeding out.
I like Saki’s pose in the last panel. Not sure how effective it is to fight with a reversed sword, but it looks badass.
I believed she reversed her grip after the AT-field blocked her attack. Maybe she switched to a defence posture?
Could be. I researched the reverse grip briefly and unless you’re in a fantasy world, you’re sacrificing a lot of both reach and strength for the sake of using it in a purely defensive manner. So, yeah, it makes sense to prolong her life as much as possible.

Hate to say it, but a bit of a continuity problem.
Panel six, she’s pulling the blade from her chest.
But in panels three and four? I can’t see the blade at all.
Actually, I zoomed in on panel four, and now I can see it there.
So it’s just panel three, I guess.
It’s there! I guess the AT Field hides most of it. T_T

I was looking for the white lacing on the grip, but all I saw was black & orange.
C’mon, cavalry! A sniper’s bullet from the next roof over…! An eldritch abomination rising behind her! Somebody! >_<;
A spitball from behind, distracting her long enough to prove a katana can decapitate in 1 swing? Looking a “something” to the side (nothing actually there) & grinning evilly, providing an obvious distraction?
Alright, Daniel the Human may have actually thought these up, but I’m still posting them. Apparently “a strike doesn’t have to be fatal to win you the fight. If they’re distracted by a slashed leg, they are less likely to stop a stab to the chest…”

I gotta admit that now that Marie-Lune has powered up this much I am also one of the people who want Laurence to intervene, but rather than a Nergal design I could go for a splash page that looks kinda like this:

How about making the female characters of

Oh, that Marie-Lune. Guess a knife to the chest is not enough to teach her to stop showboating. Yes, go ahead, show off how terrifying and powerful you are.
I wonder if there’s some kind of override to Marie-Lune’s powers, and whether Liliane might know it (as a high-ranking person in the organization).
You’d imagine if someone gave crazy people such super-powers, they’d build in some sort of control.
On the other hand, maybe just taking her glasses off and glaring at M-L might do the trick.
