Gaia finally meets one of her siblings. I’ve been waiting for this moment for more than 10 years now!
As you could see from last week’s comic, it seems like they have the ability to sense each other when they’re nearby.
Maybe one day I’ll make a list of all the things Gaia (Dione?) can do. Like jumping down from the second floor like if it was nothing.

They even have similar hairstyles.
That’s not so surprising, bearing in mind their origins and rapid hair growth. What I find interesting is their outfits have the same palette, aside from Iapetus’ boots and shirt.
Not such a bad guy? Looks like he wants to make her drunk… wait, with her regenerate power that probably won’t work. But it’s interesting that she’s cautious around him despite him being the nicest one.
panel 3: The comma should come after “there”, not before.
And what’s wrong with the masonry, especially panel 2? Did you lose interest in drawing white lines half way down? XD And for a minute there I thought you had drawn too many lines in panel 2 until I realized they symbolize Gaia’s movement. Maybe they would’ve been better in black?
No I don’t think the Green Haired ones can get drunk…
Fixed the text. As for the masonry, meh. I got tired of it. Mostly because I had to add the lower half of the panel later (it was initially more zoomed it and it didn’t work)
It was like 3 AM and I was fucking sick of drawing this.
Also, the speedlines are white because you wouldn’t see them against the dark background if they were black.
I have an artist friend whose day job was working for an architectural magazine. She got -so- tired of drawing brickwork… Computer graphics was just starting to become a thing. So I gave her computer graphics mags to encourage her to make the transition. She’s happier now.
I understand. :-) Masonry isn’t quite as important as pretty much all the rest of the panels anyway.
Btw: For my last two comments I activated the checkbox that says “Notify me of new posts by email.”, but nothing happened, neither when someone responded, nor when someone posted a comment in general nor when a new comic was posted. I checked my spam folder, too. What does the checkbox do?
Niceness is relative, after all. Seems his loyalties might not be where she thinks, though… or perhaps she’s just erring on the side of caution.
Jumping down from a seconds story used to be nothing to me… and then I hit my 30s, and suddenly it was no longer nothing.
Gravity is your enemy.
It’s interesting that Phoebe is not with him, even though it was her who wanted to find “Gaia”.
Perhaps they didn’t want to make Gaia feel assaulted two on one?
And the fact that they didn’t even look for Gaia kinda explains how Gaia was able to stay hidden despite her boxing ring feats and YouTube fame. Now I just really want to know why they didn’t look for her?
Maybe they don’t watch Youtube.
Maybe they have no idea where in the entire world she might have ended up at.
Maybe it was more expensive to find her than leaving her be.
Phoebe might also have a harder time going unnoticed in public… and with the Furies enjoying open season on Titans, too much green hair in one spot could be a liability.
They might have split up, to find her faster.
Or perhaps Iapetus is being protective of Phoebe and thought it was safer if he went looking by himself.
I gather that Canadians use “second floor” in the American sense of one floor above ground level? Can’t really tell from the artwork.

Whoa! It’s taken me two years, but I’ve finally caught up! Now what am I going to do during my lunch breaks?!
I could recommend some other comics, if you’d like. If Frivolesque lasted you two years, I can keep you supplied indefinitely.
I would recommend a webcomic “collection” like Belfry (www.belfrycomics.net); there are several others as well. Not everything there may suit you, but it can point you in the direction of several comics you hadn’t heard of before, or help you rediscover comics you’ve lost track of.
This is gonna be more like… “Some of our sisters are dead. Murdered.” Isn’t it?
I hadn’t even thought of that.
I always kind of thought they escaped as a group and went their separate ways.
