Go Delphine!
I just hope she doesn’t think he’s just a cheap P&D.
Haha, those fangs in panel 2. XD
She often has those. :)
She’s channelling her inner alpha predator. ;)
It just occurred to me that Marie-Neige called Delphine “tigress” on the previous page. The fangs are very appropriate, as is going directly for the kill. :D
If only it were that simple for all of us. (Yeah, yeah, I know the whole process wasn’t simple at all. But still.)
It always depends!
Asking is easy enough, but getting yourself to ask is hard. Especially if you’d really rather know the answer before asking, and want to create circumstances that favor a positive answer.
That entrance probably got her points.
If I was Fred, I would give points to that.
Aaaaand we have a ship.
Will it sail?
I hope so, for Delphine. But I’m not sure he’s giving up on Saki so easily. (On the other hand, Marie gave up on Liliane, so stranger things have happened.) Giving someone a chance and going to dinner with them is still a long way off from having a relationship.
Heck, maybe after actually getting to know him a bit, she might find out he’s not all that her imagination had built him up to be. That might even be the funnier outcome.
She’s really lucky there was no line to the Frederic’s counter.
It’s actually late already, the cafe is probably closing soon. He was already mopping the floor in the last strips and Delphine had the time to return home and come back.
Panel one, she’s sliding on the wet floor?
Emergency stop after running to get there before closing? Daniel the Human tells me Down Under you can’t have a freshly mopped floor still wet without a Wet Floor sign, or someone will slip & sue you America style…
Well, lets hear it for the effect of a good pep talk. And now, having suffered the agony of (at least perceived) defeat, can Delphine handle success? Inquiring minds want to know.
We’ll see in the next strip!
She’ll probably stress over what to wear and what to do etc. At least she only has to wait a day; if she had a week to build this up in her mind, who knows how she’d cope :P
And in fact KILLED it :D
Delphine is not the first person in history, in any world, to ask themselves this question… :-/
Indeed. I find myself asking that question WAYYY too often.
I LOL’d Literally.
I love you right now, Dez!
…
…
But I also wish I had the guts to do that more often …
Now if Frédéric had -not- recognized her from earlier, that would have been a Delfeen class downer…
