If she was a runaway from a secret super-soldier experiment, you would think she would dye her hair a more natural colour to make her less noticable at the very least.
Maybe her hair will reject the dye?
…I got nothing else.
Or maybe there are enough people with dyed hair to make it non-conspicuous.
Also her feats of strength on the boxing ring are way more of a giveaway.
Daniel here. Something like hair dye would not only be pointless for Gaia directly, but dangerous too. A while ago she chopped it off spontaneously, roamed around with the group for a while, then went home. By the next day tho, it had all grown back. She would have to dye it DAILY, maybe even more often. Buying all that hair dye without having your own hair salon might set off a few alarm bells, potentially informing her creators(?) where she is…

Maybe, but since all their test subjects have long green hair, that makes them easier to detect.
I’ve always wondered, does Gaia’s name have any significance? Like, is it related to the Greek Gaea?
Look into the names of her siblings, and you might find an answer.

They all have names from Greek mythology.
Her sibs are referenced in the “characters” label just below the page title. Cronus (after the king of the Titans & father of the 6 principal Olympian gods), Phoebe (after Cronus’ sister, or any number of others), & Gaia (after the mother of the Titans).
I’ve read enough Percy Jackson novels to know the Greek (and Roman!) myths to some extent. :P
