Huh. I always kind of thought she’d be able to do that eyes-closed martial arts you see in fiction.
If this chapter is going to be nothing but glasses gags, that’s fine by me.
Also I suspect Saki would end up walking off a roof if she ever had to go more than one panel at a time without her glasses.
She’d start at ground level, avoid ramps and stairs, and still walk off a roof.
I don’t think it’s that much of a predicament. We do have actual blind people in our world and they don’t fall off roofs, either. :-)
Saki must be used to it as well, and since she’s a trained fighter I imagine she must even have had some training in blind-fighting. If your glasses are your single point of failure, you definitely make all kinds of precautions.
I mean: “take” precautions. Sigh, grammar.
Nah, Saki sucks hard without her glasses. It’s her main weak point.

Saki is like -_-, not her usual 3_3. I guess she’s squinting really hard. I wonder, how does she manage to find her glasses in the morning? I guess she has to memorize where she puts them every time, otherwise she would never find them… Poor thing.
You put them on your bedside table & remember not to leave any full cups there. And keep your spare pair in the drawer just in case they fall of the table in the night so you can find them.
That is what I do.
“I’ve lost my glasses and I can’t look for them until I find them!”

Weirdly, the thing that bothers me the most about it is that it’s a right hand coming from the left side of the screen.

It’s actually a common test used by paramedics and similar to check if a person with a possible concussion has blurred vision or confusion.
I think this is the first time I’ve noticed the M-N is wearing blue nail polish.
I wonder how often I missed it.
Pretty often, looks like. Man, there’s so much detail in this comic, I feel bad about not noticing half of it.
I think this story arc is the only time I had her using nail polish.
