191 – Tsun-Tsun
Saki totally didn’t enjoy reading Delphine’s unusual manga last time she met her.
And she’s definitely not back for more.
I’m afraid part of the punchline this time once again relies on another obscure Japanese word.
According to Wikipedia :
Tsundere (ツンデレ, pronounced [tsɯndeɽe]) is a Japanese term for a character development process that describes a person who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing a warmer side over time. The word is derived from the terms tsun tsun (ツンツン?), meaning to turn away in disgust, and dere dere (デレデレ?) meaning to become ‘lovey dovey’.

It’s not like Saki wants more yaoi! It’s just because she depleted Fanamanga’s stock.
I thought Saki got rid of her plaster at page 186, but I guess she got herself a new one. Well, it’s not like you can use one plaster for a whole year.
I wonder what Saki is hiding under her band-aid, hope it’s not a hairy mole.
That would be the worst.
Is it, though? I mean, saying “it’s the worst” is just a challenge to think of something worse. Like a freaky little mini-Saki growing out of her cheek.
Which, come to think of it, takes us back to the budding young woman joke way back in the early comments.
Damn, how come nobody noticed this before?
Keen observation, but that was a mistake from my part.
Here, 186 has been fixed, and Saki is properly injured again. XD
Also, I spy with my little eye… Another Canadian webcomic!
And a good one too! :)
I just finished reading! It’s great. Unfortunately, second part is only in French (
Et du quoi sert du mal?
Saki’s become a favorite of mine has time marched on. Always glad to see her branching out.
I bet Saki hurt herself after trying her first pair of glasses and had to put on a plaster on XD (yeah right… I’d rather never know, leaves more to the imagination) :)
It’s nice to know MN still has a keen sense of analysis XD
What if she’s just there for some definitely not-Yaoi? Let’s not rush to judgement.
Maybe she just wants to check out some Yuri and has accidentally come to the right person.
That would be a welcome change.
But she did ask for Delphine.
Y’know, I usually view most fujoshi as being awful characters in anime, but I rather like Saki as a tsundere fujoshi.
Fujoshi, just like every other type of geek, deserve love too.
I think it’s because, in anime and manga, the fujoshi that are shown are generally overly excited about BL and will constantly fantasize about and ship their male friends and other guys they know. A more tsundere or closet fujoshi is, I think, a lot more palpable. Also, let’s be real here, Saki as a closet fujoshi is such a huge moe-gap for her that it’s hard not to like.
Also, is that a Sailor Moon poster…?
Yeah!
It first appeared in one of the Delphine strips.
