Seeing as Laurence’s bloodtype is AB, I think ‘C’ was just Dez’s little joke.

This is a shot in the dark but, could it be that you are thinking about Laurence and Flore (who are both AB), instead of Clementine?

If there were a C bloodtype, Clementine would definitely have it. No, I wasn’t thinking about Flore.
It wouldn’t be the first time one of Dez’s jokes became canon, though.
I wouldn’t read to much into it that he didn’t give Laurence a weird blood type.
