Aw, man. I’m going through the archives and kabitzing as I go. I didn’t know you used the “bear it” pun here or I wouldn’t have used it earlier. Sorry about that. :-(
It is a thing of webcomic comments sections. Sooner or later certain puns always seem to crop up. The lack of originality in that regard is quite… intolerable.
To be honest though, I believe that “unpunning” (as I call it) is probably too subtle for the average transatlantean to understand.
