Upon review; It seems the ever ambiguous Laurence is excited that “it’s happening…at last”.
Mr. Toad is pretty down about this mysterious event. Other than that we readers are left in the dark!

Hehe. There’s no big secret here. This is mostly self referential.
Frivolesque is what’s happening. Basically. When I was done with the intro chapters, I was all “Wow. This is it. I’m a webcomic artist now!” And thought of drawing this random thing.
In-universe though, it might refer to something else with Laurence and her mysterious connection to the rest of the cast. Just wait and see.
It has a toad — or frog. That’s all I need to love it. I’m easy.
His name also happens to me Mr. Toad. How awesome is that?
