Yup. She’s the one in charge of the “special agents” that Saki (Rain) is part of. As seen in the following strips, Saki and Conroy are the people she was supposed to “Meet at four”
Back when I was last in Canada (or maybe the time before) my ex-wife was going on about bricks basically being regarded as a status symbol there. Probably because I’d been querying why most of the buildings were either plastic-sided or wooden…
The underlying factor here being that here in Britain, brick is the LOWEST form of building material. Houses made of flimsier materials are an amusing novelty… as is proudly naked brick (we often paint over brick to hide it).
I assume you draw bricks on the buildings because your characters can not afford heating the 200/300/400 year old STONE buildings of the old town within the fortress walls ?
(The site is in only in French right now but an English version will come soon. You can still order the English version of the books there. Be sure to specify.)

Spoilers! Granted, most folks visiting for the first time will probably ignore the comments.
Being right was nice, though.
I read comments as I go. But it wasn’t much of a spoiler anyway.
All that brick work, I’m not surprised. Looks really good, though. Nice work. :-)
You were there, Flore. Don’t you remember? :-)
WHY MUST THERE BE SO MANY BRICKS IN QUEBEC CITY? T_T
Flore still doesn’t understand how this all happened.

As a Canadian, I think bricks are just… bricks?

I can relate to Flore’s hermit tendencies.
BRICKS….
mumble mumble mumble mumble mumble mumble
I’m really starting to like Flore.
I wonder what it is about that last panel that’s pushing the like button in my brain.
