It is pretty safe to conclude that Laurence is a “humanitarian”

Vague Evangelion feels from Laurence(/Nergal?)’s monotone form, here… though I can definitely say that despite all the ways this arc has deviated from what’s become “usual” for Frivolesque, I certainly didn’t expect to see someone get vored.
To be honest, the last two panels gave me more of an Attack on Titan impression.

Panel 3 is definitely lifted from End of Evangelion. And it’s probably be the last of my cheap EVA references for a while. XD
Prediction: Marie-Lune’s soul is now gone and Laurence is in control of her body to have a life of her own.

If she ever had one to begin with, it was probably the first thing they removed when they “improved” her.
I wonder if Laurence chewed her snack properly. Wouldn’t want to risk something like what happened in that Alien movie.
There were some hard bits in there, like glasses and Doc Martens soles.

Wait, Laurence and Nergal are both tagged. Is this because it’s happening inside the Box? Did Nergal assume Laurence’s appearance? Did Laurence take on Nergal’s powers? Are they both aspects of a singular entity? Does this mean worry about Nergal escaping from the Box is pointless? My brain hurts.

Laurence inhabits a corner of Flore’s imagination. Nergal is an eldritch abomination trapped in a box. Fine. But Laurence fully partakes of our reality when she comes to visit…
