They’re cute together, and until proven otherwise I choose to believe this is good for them both. They deserve a little happiness.
I’d like almost any (non-iffy) pairing, to be quite honest.
But I can’t deny this was quite nicely done.
Kinda suspecting this is just a fantasy of one of them. But maybe I’m wrong.
I never do fantasies with Marie, unless she’s outright dreaming… That’s Flore’s thing.
It’s never been harder for me to come up with a comment.

For me, only if it becomes an exclusive relationship. For Clementine… yeah. One does assume it’s exclusive because that’s the default in modern society.
Eh, I think Clem’s lack of self-confidence and both her and Catherine’s assumption that Marie is more experienced actually help the odds of Clementine and Marie-Neige ending up together; she’s unlikely to be upset at not being Marie-Neige’s first, and this way Marie’s got better odds of showing her a good time if they ever do get together. As does Catherine for that matter.
Any pairing in that triangle works, plus they’d be a super cute trio.
I have tried shipping the three of them. Honestly, I’d have thought it would have taken Clem and Cat together to tie Marie down, but it seems Catherine is the right girl in the right place at the right time.
It would be nice if Clementine still fit in the picture, but I have my doubts.
Poor, poor Clementine.

By the way, Dez, what I find most striking about the final panel is your work on what we can see of the characters’ the eyes behind the glasses. Very evocative.

Well, not sure if this is real or fantasy, but there are some things that can be said for certain. 1.Catherine is much prettier with her down loose. 2. And she’s got some thick glasses. Other than that, it’s hard to tell. But let’s hope it’s real.
Of course, this could lead up to the natural next strip, where the other two get back after Catherine and Marie are finished, and they try to deny that anything happened. But for some reason, both of them are having trouble with their eyes. And it turns out, they’re wearing each others glasses.
Given the huge apparent different in prescription, I don’t think they could accidentally swap glasses.
And I think Marie would prefer keeping them on (as she has a thing for glasses)
And I totally agree Cat looks nice with her hair loose.

This has to be a comic someone drew or something. I never got the random fling vibe from Marie.
5 bucks says mini Marie likes to make yuri and that’s what this is.
Marie has been conflicted for a while about her feelings. And with her revealing she’s not even “done it” before here, she finally decided to be serious about something.
I don’t see how it’s so out of character. The last 15 or so comic have been about Marie slowly trying to change things about herself.
I would have thought she’d have either held herself out for Flores sister, or ended up with Clemintine in some way. Even changing this feels a bit drastic. Still love the comic and cant wait to see where it goes though.
She does seem aware of the fact Liliane is straight, and pursuing her would be a waste of time. This whole thing about needing a job, growing up, and now, having a younger girl considering her as some sort of role model puts things into perspective for her.
At her age, she’s never done anything, and yet people assume she has. So she wanted to try something with this girl who was been so obviously into her since the beginning.
As for Clementine, we’ll see.
Yeah I got the whole playing catchup with her friends aspect. It made sense. But the shock on this was a shock, not necessarily an unpleasant one though. Let’s just hope Clementine gets her “swing” eventually (and that you dont break her emotionally when she finds out).

Yes, that does worry me a little bit. It could be awkward if one of them decides their not really into it halfway through. Or if they have different expectations of what comes next.
… Am I the only one wondering how far Mylene’s place is? That would be an awkward walk-in moment.

I actually wondered the same thing as I wrote this. Maybe they stopped for coffee on the way back… or maybe they just found Marie’s room with a closed door and no sign of Catherine so they simply thought she went back home?

Catherine is about to learn something about herself. I wonder if it will change how she interacts with her friends?
